The 2015 2LT option on vehicles like the Chevrolet Corvette adds significant technology, safety, and comfort features over the base 1LT model. Key additions include a heads-up display, a 10-speaker Bose audio system, heated and ventilated seats, and advanced safety features like side blind zone alert and rear cross-traffic alert.
The 2015 Corvette Z51 option was a performance package that added a range of upgrades, including enhanced cooling systems, a dry-sump oil system, a performance exhaust, larger brakes with slotted rotors, an upgraded suspension, and a performance-tuned electronic limited-slip differential. It also came with larger 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels, along with unique spoilers and aerodynamic enhancements like air deflectors for improved stability.
The 2015 Corvette Performance Data Recorder (PDR) was an optional factory-installed system that recorded high-definition video with in-car audio and performance data, such as speed, G-force, and lap times. To use it, a user inserts a 32GB or smaller SD card into a slot in the glove box and selects an overlay mode, including Sport, Track, or Performance Timing. The recorded sessions can be reviewed on the car's infotainment screen or on a computer using the Cosworth Toolbox software.
The 2015 Corvette LT1 is a 6.2L V8 engine that powers the 2015 C7 Stingray, producing 455 horsepower as standard, or 460 horsepower with the optional dual-mode performance exhaust.This engine features advanced technologies like direct injection and can be paired with either a 7-speed manual or an 8-speed automatic transmission, with a 0–60 mph time of 3.7 seconds with the automatic and performance exhaust.
