The 2016 Corvette 3LT is the top luxury trim, and it includes all features from the 2LT package plus additional premium interior enhancements. Key features of the 3LT trim are an upgraded 10-speaker Bose audio system with a bass box, a navigation system with a color touchscreen, and a performance data and video recorder. It also adds a highly upgraded interior with authentic leather on door panels and the dash, heated and ventilated seats, and a sueded microfiber-wrapped upper interior trim.
The 2016 Corvette Z51 option is a performance package that adds a variety of upgrades, including performance brakes, a dry sump oil system, and a performance suspension. The package also includes an enhanced cooling system, a performance exhaust, and exterior and wheel enhancements like a rear spoiler. Key features of the Z51 package include Brembo brakes, an electronic limited-slip differential (eLSD), and larger rear wheels.
The 2016 Corvette NPP (Nuclear Propulsion Package) option is a factory-installed performance exhaust system that features vacuum-controlled valves in the exhaust tips, allowing for a variable sound profile controlled by the car's drive mode selector. It provides a quieter experience in "Touring" mode and a louder, more aggressive sound in "Sport" and "Track" modes, with the valves opening for the first two seconds of a cold start to enhance the initial sound.
The 2016 Corvette PDR (Performance Data Recorder) option integrates a high-definition camera and data logger to record driving experiences, including video with telemetry overlays. It requires a Class 10 SD card (up to 32GB) inserted into the glove box and allows users to analyze driving performance with the included Cosworth Toolbox. The system can be used on both tracks and public roads, with track mode automatically timing laps once a start/finish line is set.
