The 2020 Corvette 2LT adds significant technology, convenience, and safety features to the base 1LT trim, including a head-up display, a 14-speaker Bose audio system, built-in navigation, a Performance Data Recorder (PDR), heated and ventilated seats with memory, a heated steering wheel, and wireless phone charging. The 2LT also includes crucial safety tech like blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and a front curb-view HD camera, along with the optional front-lift system for navigating steep obstacles.
For the 2020 Corvette, Magnetic Ride Control was an optional feature, available with the Z51 Performance Package, not included as standard with it. This system uses magnetic fluid to adjust damping in milliseconds, offering a versatile ride that can range from comfortable to track-ready. It integrates with the Performance Traction Management system, providing modes like Wet, Dry, Sport, and Race for optimal handling in various conditions.
The 2020 Corvette C8's Z51 package was a popular $5,000 option adding track-focused performance with bigger brakes, enhanced cooling, a performance exhaust (adding 5 hp), a heavy-duty cooling system, an electronic limited-slip differential, performance tires (Michelin Pilot Sport 4S), and aerodynamic bits like a front splitter and rear spoiler, significantly improving its 0-60 time and overall track capability over the base model. It bundled mechanical, aerodynamic, and tire upgrades for a more aggressive driving experience
