The 2021 Corvette 3LT option is a trim package that adds significant interior luxury, including a full leather-wrapped interior, Napa leather sport seats, and carbon fiber accents. Beyond the luxurious materials, this trim includes features like heated and ventilated seats, a premium Bose sound system, navigation, a head-up display, and a flat-bottom steering wheel with a leather and Alcantara finish.
The 2021 Corvette Z51 is an optional performance package that includes upgraded brakes, suspension, cooling, and an electronic limited-slip differential to improve handling and track performance. It also adds a performance exhaust (boosting horsepower to 495 hp), aerodynamic elements like a front splitter and rear spoiler, and Michelin Pilot Sport 4S summer tires. For a performance-focused driver, the package is widely considered a worthwhile investment.
For the 2021 Corvette, the Magnetic Ride Control (Mag ride) was available as a standalone option, no longer requiring the Z51 package as it did in previous years. This adaptive suspension system uses an electromagnetic field to adjust shock absorber stiffness up to 1,000 times per second to improve both ride comfort and handling performance, and it is a popular feature with high resale value.
The 2021 Corvette front lift option is a hydraulic system that raises the front of the car by approximately 2 inches to clear obstacles like speed bumps and steep driveways. It can be activated manually via a button on the center console and automatically lowers above 24 mph or when the car is turned off. A key feature is its ability to use GPS to automatically remember up to 1,000 locations where the lift was used, raising the vehicle when returning to those spots.
The Performance Data Recorder (PDR) functions as a dashcam and a performance analysis tool, recording video from a front-facing camera and capturing data like speed, G-forces, and lap times. The PDR requires an SD card (not included) for operation, which is inserted in the glove box, and its settings can be customized through the infotainment system.
